Creative Writing to Publish

I like to take a brief look back on the years of facilitating the Creative Writing to Publish Workshop and also being the editorial and publisher of 4 different collective books. I am very pleased, has been both busy and fruitful. I will share with you some of highlights from the year and in keeping with theme of looking back to inspire, I also gave some focus to knowledge acquired and the various women and men that have attend my workshops and the women I have work with in publishing the collective books with over the years and how it has developed as a profession and a field since first workshop with five group of women and I later co facilitated with Rev. Dr Livingstone Thompson.

I hope you have all enjoyed reading the books published by us over the years and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the participant, authors and readers for tuning into our news, joining us at our events, forwarding, advising and buying our books we have provided to help with your knowledge, stories shared to inspire, create endeavor and given voice to the voiceless.

I am looking forward to sharing lots more interesting stories from brave men and women as the years goes bye.

The authors are the group of ordinary women from various cultural backgrounds with dreams and now doing extraordinary in their communities. Sharing stories of triumph, devastating experience, and everything in between with a requesting of someone to encourage women to come out and speak up.

As a part of the Cavan Multicultural Society our book was launched at the Launch of 4C

Meet a woman, mother, sister, lover, friend, full of expectation, thinker and doer Susuana Olatunji Komolafe. She has being involve with various organisation engaging women, the initiator, ideology, founder of the Way Paver's Recognition Award under the platform of the Afro in Diaspora Center founded by her with the support of close friends that made it possible to bring the initiative to life. Yetunde Joyce, Originally from Nigeria. She lived in Ireland for over 17 years and now naturalized as an Irish she offered to be a co-author of Spotlight Women book because she has the passion to mentor women who are currently going through what she went through in the past. She really hope the chapter she wrote will make a positive impact to her generation and the future generations. Maria José from Chile living in Ireland since 2015 and at 21 stated travelling, she has a son, a daughter and son in law. She was abuse in her childhood and marriage and a pancreatic and uterus cancer survived. She decide to write to shows that you can have plenty time to dream, be happy and of course be a blessing every single day with love. She never in the past believe that privilege was for her. She is encouraging people to live in peace, happiness and without fear. She believe destiny put her here for something.

Angela de Sao Pedro Silva, originally from Brazil living in Ireland since 2007 she has two beautiful sons and one daughter. They are everything to her and she wanted to share her life in the past. Her dreams is to encourage all people who are in abuse, bullying, discrimination, etc don't feel alone. Bianca Romanian by origin. Living in Ireland since January 2001. She has 5 sons. What inspire her to join the book project was the desire to share her story as she know it would help women come out of abusive situations. One of her goals for the future is to become more involved with helping women realize their worth. Funmi, a Nigerian, came to Ireland in 2001. She was inspired because she is passionate about empowering people. Sharing her story to impact other people's life positive.
